Reporting

​Formal reporting occurs 3 times a year.  Report cards will be sent home in December, March, and June.  Conferences will occur 2 times a year.  There will be an early dismissal on conference days at 12:30 p.m.  Busses will pick up bus students at 12:30 on these days.  You are welcome to contact your child's teacher at any time if you have any questions or concerns about your child's progress.

 

Primary (Kindergarten - Grade 3)

 

Primary report cards consist of a scale indicating if your child does not meet grade level expectations to exceeding grade level expectations.  There will also be detailed comments on your child's progress, as well as ways that both the home and school will help support future learning.

 

Intermediate (Grade 4-5)

 

Intermediate report cards consist of letter grades (A, B, C+, C, C- or I), as well as work habit marks of G (Good), S (Satisfactory), or N (Needs Improvement).  There are also detailed comments on your child's progress, as well as ways that both the home and school will help support future learning.

​A ​86 - 100%; The student demonstrates excellent or outstanding performance in relation to the expected learning outcomes for the subject area. ​5
​B ​73 - 85%; The student demonstrates very good performance in relation to the expected learning outcomes for the subject area. ​4
​C+ ​67 - 72%; The student demonstrates good performance in relation to the expected learning outcomes for the subject area. ​3
​C ​60 - 66%; The student demonstrates satisfactory performance in relation to the expected learning outcomes for the subject area. ​2
​C- ​50 - 59%; The student demonstrates minimally acceptable performance in relation to the expected learning outcomes for the subject area. ​1
​I The student is making progress, but it has been determined that additional time is required to meet the expected learning outcomes for the subject area.
 

 

School Recognition

 

Work Ethic:  A student receives 10 or more G's in the work habits column.  The student may not have a N.
