Making a Difference at Ellison Elementary!
Principal’s Message

Dear Parents & Guardians,

Welcome to Ellison Elementary School.  As principal of Ellison Elementary I would like to welcome all students, families, and community partners to our beautiful school and acknowledge that Ellison Elementary is on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Syilx (Okanagan) People. Our beautiful school was built in 1996, and we are situated in the middle of the community of Ellison, in the Scotty Creek subdivision, within easy walking distance for many of our students.  Many other students arrive every morning through our School District's busing transportation system.  Presently, we have approximately 205 students from Kindergarten through grade 5.  It is easy to see that here at Ellison there is a strong support for activities and events that strengthen the 'family' feeling and enhance the learning environment for all in the school community.  We have a dedicated staff and Parent Advisory Council who all contribute to the success of each child that attends Ellison.

Personally, I feel extremely proud and honored to hold my first principalship at Ellison Elementary.  It is with great pleasure that I now have the opportunity to be part of this amazing learning community and officially become a Bulldog!

I look forward to getting to know each one of you.  Together we will work towards making our school a great place to learn and be involved. We will help prepare our students to thrive as individuals who will make a positive difference in our world.

Please stop into the school to say hello and ask questions.  You can always reach me directly on my school email at
